Configure Watch Folder Service Command Line Format win2pdf-pro-tse-feature

win2pdfd.exe configwatchservice

win2pdfd.exe configwatchservice servicenumber

Configures the Watch Folder and Convert feature to run as a service. Multiple watch folders can be configured by specifying an optional "servicenumber" which can be a number from 1 to 20. The command displays the "Watch Folder Service Config" window for specifying the location of the "Convert Files From" watched folder, and the "Save To Folder" destination folder.

After configuring the folder locations and "Convert To Format", the "Save Config" button installs and starts the service. If the service had previously been installed, the "Save Config" button updates the service configuration using the new settings and restarts the service. The service will automatically start with Windows, and does not require that anyone is logged in to the server. To monitor and control the services, navigate to the Control Panel, then System and Security, then Administrative Tools, and finally select Services.

The service runs under the local system account by default. If your "Convert files from" or "Save To Folders" are not accessible from the local system account, you can configure the service to run under a different user using the "Log on" tab of the "Services" applet.
